13 January 2026 – Stoke City, England — Republic of Ireland international goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu has joined Stoke City on loan from Southampton for the remainder of the 2025–26 season. The 23-year-old, who has made over 90 appearances for Southampton since his move from Manchester City in 2022, will wear the number 31 shirt at Stoke and aims to provide experienced competition between the sticks as the Potters push for a Championship play-off spot. Stoke’s sporting director Jonathan Walters welcomed Bazunu’s arrival, highlighting his top-level experience, international pedigree and the professionalism he brings to the squad.
